On the Eve of World Ozone Day on 16th September,2014, The NGC is organizing Drawing competitions on 15th September for School Children and also for College students on the theme SAVE NATURE at 10.00 am in the old seminar hall.

NGC STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE CAMPUS CLEANING AND IN PLANTATION WORK- 11-9-2014
As a part of NGC programme, 50 NGC students participated in the cleaning and plantation work near the UGC hostel. This work gives students an experience about the importance of cleanliness and plantation. This also imparts a feeling of responsibility on their surroundings for the students.

National Green Corps organized a Guest Lecture on ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION- ROLE OF STUDENTS on 8th September 2014 in In-7. Dr. B. Siva Kumari NGC Coordinator explain the importance and objectives of NGC. Dr. T. Sri Kumar Dept of Physics delivered a Guest Lecture on Role of Students in the Environmental protection and various methods to control pollutants. All the NGC(100) volunteers activity interacted with the resource person.
