Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Department of Botany, was invited to serve as a Jury Member for the DST, Government of India-sponsored District-Level INSPIRE-MANAK Project Evaluation Competition held on 14th and 15th March 2023 at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada. The competition was organized by the Department of Education, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh.

Government of India, and SCERT, Andhra Pradesh, held on 1 March 2023 at Andhra
Loyola College, Vijayawada.
The event was
organized by the Department of Education in association with SCERT, NTR
District, Andhra Pradesh. Dr. B. Siva Kumari contributed to the evaluation and
assessment of students' scientific exhibits and innovative projects.

The Department of Botany, Andhra Loyola College organized a one day Workshop on hands on training programme on Mushroom Cultivation on 19th January, 2023 at Andhra Loyola College (Vijayawada) in Collaboration with Tanusree Mushrooms Vijayawada, for the III B.Sc DZ Students. Total 31 members participated in this workshop. Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Andhra Loyola College and Mr. T. Jaya Chandra acted as Resource persons. The Resource persons explained the importance, procedure, sterilization harvesting and Marketing of Mushrooms.
