The Department of Botany Organized a One Day Field Trip to Kadyam for III B.sc Students on 11^th February, 2017.Total 50 Students and Faculty members Participated in this Programme.

11-02-2017- BEST FROM THE WASTE- RE-CYCLING OF THE WASTE

The Department of Botany Organized an Environmental Awareness Competition on 1. Poster Presentations on Environmental Issues.2. Making Models  from the Waste Materials on 4^th Feb, 2017. All the First year Degree Students actively Participated in this Event. Prizes were given to the Best Models and Posters.

9-2-2017 - WIKIPEDIA- WORKSHOP

6-8 Feb,2017 Workshop - Flower arrangement and Maintenance

The Department of Botany organized a three day DBT Sponsored Hands on Training Workshop on  Flower arrangement and Maintenance for the III B.Sc Students on 6^th to 8^th February,2017. Total 40 Students Participated in this Workshop and they learned about how to prepare the Bouquets, Preservation of Flowers. Certificates were issued to all the Participants.

Interface Meeting: Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Dept. of Botany, participated in the Industry- Academia Interface meeting on Restructuring of the courses held in collaboration with the IQAC, ALC and CCE, and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on 2^nd Feb, 2017

27-31 Jan, 2017- RESEARCH BASED PEDAGOGICAL TOOLS

Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Dept. of Botany attended a DBT, MHRD, IISER, Pune,  British Council of India sponsored four day Workshop on “Research Based pedagogical Tool” on 27^th -30^th Jan, 2017 at Tezpur University, Assam.
