NGC organized a One Day Seminar on " The role of Medicinal Plants in Reducing Pollution," as a part of the Environmental  Awareness  week. Rev. Fr. S. Raju S.J, correspondent and Rev Fr. P. Anil Kumar S.J, Vice Principal(U.G) greeted the gathering.




              Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Academic secretary, N.G.C coordinator and Miss. V. Kavitha, HOD Dept of Bio-Technology, introduced the seminar topic to the gathering and also explained the importance of environmental awareness.

The Resource person Dr. D. Sirisha, Head, Center for Environmental and Climate Change, School of Environmental Sciences, JNIAS, Telengana. She emphasized the role of Medicinal Plants in reducing the pollutants of Ground water and soil and also their role as Bio coagulants for controlling fluoride from ground water.
