22-07-2016-MENDEL'S DAY- GUEST LECTURE ON ROLE OF GENETIC ENGINEERING & SOCIETY

                                  

On eve of Mendel’s Day 22-July -2016, a DBT Sponsored Guest Lecture was organized by the Departments of Botany, Biotechnology & Microbiology. Total 168 students attended the programme and the Guest speaker was Dr. S.Sudhakar, Head of Department of Biotechnology, ANU. He spoke Mendel's contribution towards Genetics particularly his experience towards hereditary and Mendel experiments towards outward effects of Genetic Engineering. Dr. B. Siva Kumari, DBT coordinator and all the faculty members participated in this programme.
