The Department of Botany organized a Clean and Green Programme on 30 June 2025 for Second-Year B.Sc. Botany students. A total of 23 students, along with faculty members, actively participated in the programme. The students undertook various gardening activities, including cleaning the garden premises, removing weeds, preparing soil beds, planting saplings, and maintaining existing plants. The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, develop practical gardening skills, and encourage students to take responsibility for maintaining a clean and green campus. The programme provided hands-on experience in plant care and highlighted the importance of biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability.
