The Department of Botany, Andhra Loyola College (Autonomous), Vijayawada, conducted a Board of Studies (BOS) Meeting on 24th January 2026. The meeting focused on reviewing and updating the undergraduate Botany curriculum in accordance with the latest academic requirements and guidelines. The members discussed syllabus revisions, course content, learning objectives, teaching methodologies, practical components, and student-centric academic activities. Suggestions were also considered to strengthen Outcome-Based Education (OBE), improve skill development, and incorporate emerging developments in the field of Plant Sciences. The meeting aimed to ensure the quality, relevance, and continuous improvement of the Botany curriculum.
