Plantation programme
The Department of Botany organized Plantation programme in Andhra Loyola College campus on 7/4/2026.Chief Guest Fr.Ignasimuthu, SJ, Rector,St.Xavier's College, Palamkotai addressed the students highlighting the importance of plantation for Environmental sustainability. He planted Pomegranate sapling & explained the importance of fruits in human health,immunity which promotes heart health , lower blood pressure , prevent cancer etc..and the importance of higher education & research.Degree and Intermediate students participated in this programme.
Fr. Dr. Melchior S J - Principal, Fr. K. Kiran Kumar S J - Vice Principal, Dr. M Srinivas Reddy- Vice Principal, Dr B Siva kumari - Vice Principal, Dr.T Rose Mary - HoD of Botany, Dr Sahaya bhaskaran,Dr.N.Francis Xavier, Dr G S Prasad Rao- Librarian , Dr. Roja mani were present.
