The Department of Botany, Andhra Loyola College (Autonomous), Vijayawada, organized a one-day “Lab to Lab Visit” for First-Year Students to Lakkireddy Balireddy Government College, Mylavaram, on 8 October 2026.
A total of 18 students, accompanied by Dr. G. Kranthi Kumar, Faculty, Department of Botany, participated in the programme. The students attended the DBT-sponsored One-Day National Popular Lecture Series on “Environmental Biotechnology: Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future” and had the opportunity to interact with professors and subject experts.
The visit provided students with valuable academic and practical exposure to environmental biotechnology and helped them gain a better understanding of innovative approaches for achieving a sustainable future. The programme was highly informative and beneficial in enhancing the students’ knowledge and interest in emerging areas of biotechnology.
