08/03/2022- III B.SC BOTANY STUDENTS - FIELD TRIP
As a part of the Curriculum, III B.Sc DB students visited agricultural Dept. form on 03rd March, 2022. Total 50 students and staff visited and learn the important mechanisms regarding Nursery establishment, bed preparation, seed laying, organic cultivation and different types of Medicinal plants.

28/2/2022- NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS AT ALC
The Dept. Of Botany, ALC in collaboration with APCOST, District Education Dept. Organized National Science Day on 28th Feb, 2022 at Andhra Loyola College. All the students who selected at National and State Level displayed their projects. All the officials of Krishna District Education, Management, teachers and students participated in this programme.
Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Dept. Of Botany delivered importance of Science Innovations . All the students felicitated by the Education dept.

09/02/2022- INSTITUTIONAL VISIT- Govt. Ayurvedic College- Vijayawada
As a part of the curriculum the dept. Of botany organized a one institutional visit to Govt. Ayurvedic college, vijayawada on 9th Feb, 2022 for the III B.Sc cluster students. The objective of this programme is to enlighten the students regarding different types of crud drugs, classification, separation and purification of the drugs. Total 30 students and faculty participated in this programme.

02/02/2022- INSPIRE- MANAK -2020-2021- II DAY PROGRAMME
The DST, NATIONAL INNOVATION FOUNDATION sponsored a two day State Level INSPIRE- MANAK- 2020- 2021 Organized by the Depts. Of SCERT, A.P, Department Of Education- Krishna and Guntur Dts. And Department of Botany, Andhra Loyola College on 31st January and 1st Feb, 2022.
Total 335 Student projects selected from 13 Districts of Andhra Pradesh and are evaluated by 14 Jury Members from different Universities and Colleges.
The Programme was inaugurated by the officials from SCERT, KRISHNA DT, Management of ALC.
The entire programme monitored and guided by the National Innovation Foundation Scientific Society from the Delhi. Total 6 teams of Jury members evaluated the 335 projects and finally 34 projects selected for National competition.
On second day, the evaluators interacted with the NIF people and discussed about all the selected projects.
Dr. B. Pratap Reddy Director, SCERT announced the results and explained the importance of INSPIRE programme.
