As a part of the curriculum, the dept. Of the Botany organized a one day field trip for III B.Sc Botany students on 24th June, 2023 at ALC. The purpose of this field trip is to collect different types of mushrooms, identification and different ion of edible and poisonous mushrooms. Total 25 students and staff participated in this programme.

The Department of Botany, Andhra Loyola College organized a one day Workshop on hands on training programme on Mushroom Cultivation on 19th January, 2023 at Andhra Loyola College (Vijayawada) in Collaboration with Tanusree Mushrooms Vijayawada, for the III B.Sc DZ Students. Total 31 members participated in this workshop. Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Andhra Loyola College and Mr. T. Jaya Chandra acted as Resource persons. The Resource persons explained the importance, procedure, sterilization harvesting and Marketing of Mushrooms.
