Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Department of Botany, invited as resource person  at state  level  science seminar on  "Millets-a super food or a diet Fad" programme on 22th  September, 2023 , organized by the Dept. of Education,  Krishna, Andhra Pradesh at patamata girls high school. 

 

19/09/2023 - RESOURCE PERSON AT KRISHNA DT NCSC SCIENCE TEACHERS ORIENTATION AT DHANEKULA ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Department of Botany, invited as resource person at State level NCSC teachers mentoring programme on 19th  September, 2023 organized by the Dept. of Education NTR District, Andhra Pradesh at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada.

The objective of this programme is to motivate and encourage the teachers towards recent innovations and also to explain how to prepare he students for NCSC presentations.  Total 1500 teachers from different schools, organizing committee members actively participated in this programme. 

 

 

15/09/2023 - RESOURCE PERSON AT NTR DT NCSC TEACHERS ORIENTATION PROGRAM AT ANDHRA LOYOLA COLLEGE- VIJAYAWADA

   Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Department of Botany, invited as resource person  at District level NCSC teachers mentoring programme on 15th  September, 2023 organized by the Dept. of Education NTR District, Andhra Pradesh at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada.

The objective of this programme is to motivate and encourge the teachers towards recent innovations and also to explain how to prepare he students for NCSC presentations.  

Total 300 teachers from different schools, organizing committe members actively participated in this programme. 

                          

10/07/2023- NURSERY VISIT- COLLECTION OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF PLANTS

The Dept. Of Botany organized a one day field trip to Nursery for II. B.Sc Botany students on 10th  July, 2023. Total 19 students and staff visited the nurseries. The objective of this programme is to enlightenen the students regarding different types of plants, soils, and cultivation practices.
