Dr. B. Siva Kumari and Mr. K. Sankar  Department of Botany conducted a three day workshop on E- Content development in Botany from 11th to 13th September, 2015 at ALC.

  Dr. Pavanaja Senior wikipedian, Bengaluru, Mr. K. Viswanath,  In- Charge of Saraswathi Library were the resource persons.

 48 Students participated and added 63 articles in the Botany.

Of Botany organized a three day e- Content Wikipedia workshop in Botany for the Biology students from 7^th to 9^th August, 2015 at ALC in collaboration with CIS A2K, Banguluru. Mr. Rehamuddin and Mr. Tanveer senior wikipedians are  the resource persons. Total 65 students participated in this workshop and added 80 articles to wiki source.

PREAMBLE:

            Green technology is that which mitigates the effects of human activity on the environment. It is a broad term for more environmentally friendly solutions. Therefore it can be used as environmental healing technology that reduces environmental damage caused by technologies for human conveniences.

          The main objective of Green technology is to find ways to create new technologies in such a way that they do not damage or deplete the planets' natural resources. This technology can reduce pollution and improve cleanliness thereby protecting the Earth against environmental pollution.
