                            III B.SC BOTANY STUDENTS CELEBRATING TEACHERS DAY

02-09-2021- ONE DAY WORKSHOP FOR INSPIRE -MANAK TEACHERS - HOW TO WRITE RESEARCH AND INNOVATIVE SCIENCE PROJECTS TO DST

 The Dept. of Botany, Andhra Loyola College ( Autonomous) in collaboration with Dept. of School Education, Krishna District organized a one day Teachers workshop program for the INSPIRE-MANAK selected projects on 2nd, Sep 2021 at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada.  Mr. M. Hussein, District Science Coordinator, explained how to upload the projects through online and also shared the importance of the program. 

 Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Professor in Botany, Andhra Loyola College invited as resource person to enlightened the importance of the program and how to create new ideas in young minds. She also explained the new innovations in Science and Technology.  Total 85 Teachers from Machilipatnam division, of Krishna Dt. participated in this Program.  

27-08-2021- ONE DAY ORIENTATION FOR INSPIRE - MANAK SCIENCE TEACHERS

ONE DAY ORIENTATION FOR INSPIRE MANAK-TEACHERS ON 27-08-2021The Dept. of Botany, Andhra Loyola College ( Autonomous) in collaboration with Dept. of School Education, Krishna District organized a one day Teachers orientation program for the INSPIRE-MANAK selected projects on 27th Aug, 2021 at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada.  Mrs. Tehera Sultana, DEO, Krishna Dt Ms. L. Chandrakala, DYEO, Krishna Dt, Mr. M. Hussein, District Science Coordinator, Dr. T. Rose Mary, HoD of Botany   and all the Management  members of Andhra Loyola College participated in this program. All the officials explained the need of innovations in present day scenario to face new problems.  Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, Professor in Physics, Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Professor in Botany, Andhra Loyola College invited as resource persons to enlightened the importance of the program and how to create new ideas in young minds. Total 185 Teachers from four divisions of Krishna Dt. participated in this Program.  Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Dept. of Botany organized this programme.

26-03-2021- ATTENDED APSCHE Q- LEADERS ONLINE MEETING

  Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Department of Botany appointed as a Q – Leader by the APSCHE ( Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) Govt. of A.P.   Dr. B. Siva Kumari  attended a WEBNAR meeting  on Role of Q- Leaders and  importance of accreditation by the NAAC on 26^th March, 2021.  All the officials of the APSCHE attended to this program. 

23/03/2021 -I- B.SC- FIELD VISIT AND III B.SC BOTANY- AS A PART OF PROJECT WORK - SEMINAR ON HOW TO WRITE RESEARCH PROJECTS- AN OVER VIEW ON RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The Dept. of Botany organized one day workshop on Importance of Research and how to conduct project. As a part of curriculum dept. organized this programme. The resource person explained how to choose the right and needy area. collection of data, scientific evidences and preparation of soft copy. Total 50 students and faculty participated in this programme. 

23/03/2021- field visit

As a part of the curriculum, the Dept. Of Botany o organized a  one day field trip for the I B.Sc students on 23/03/202. Students visited the VVR Nursery and observed the Importance of Horticultural crops and its role. Total 60 students participated in this programme.  The nursery experts explained about different types of soils, plants, propagation methods, indoor gardening, floriculture techniques and drip irrigation methods.
