The Departments of Botany and Agriculture and Rural Development at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada organized a two day DST, DBT, Govt. of India, APCOST, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh Sponsored National Conference on “Advances in Agriculture and Environmental Studies” on 3rd and 4th Dec, 2021 with 220 Staff, Scientists, Scholars and Students from various disciplines like Botany, Biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture, Pharmacy and Environmental Depts. from three countries, 11 states, 28 Colleges, 11 Universities and 5 Research Organizations participated in this Conference. Dr. B. Siva Kumari, Department of Botany was the Organizing Secretary of this Conference.
The Conference was inaugurated on 3rd Dec, 2021 by all the
officials of the Andhra Loyola College Management, Sri. J. Padma Janardhana
Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of APSSDCL, Govt. of A.P, Sri. K.
Srinivas, Chief Environmental Scientist from APPCB and others invited speakers
Dr. Ujjal Paul, Principal Scientist, IICT, HYD, Dr. B. Gangaiah, Principal
Scientist, IIMR, ICAR, HYD, Dr. Venu Gopal, Senior Scientist from Visakapatnam
participated in the inauguration. Inauguration session followed by Invited
talks, Oral and Poster Presentations.
On
4th Dec, 2021 the Session begins with the invited talks
by Dr. G. CH. Satyanarayana, Associate Professor from K.L University, Dr. Ch.
Krishna Reddy from USA, Sri. K. Srinivas from APPCB delivered the talks. In
between the talks, students presented their papers and posters both in online and offline mode.
We received total 145 papers from different parts of the countries, we published proceedings with ISBN number.
On 4th Dec in the evening
the Conference concluded with the Valedictory. All the officials of the Management, Dr. D.
Srinivas, CEO, Managing Director, Manpharma and Dr. Devala Rao, Principal,
KVSR, Siddhartha Pharmaceuticals Sciences were the Guest honor and Chief Guest
respectively.
